I was born and raised in Kent, South East England, not too far from London.
I’ve been able to call myself a professional travel & portrait photographer (and the director of the odd music video) since 2013 and have been fortunate to have worked with some amazing clients in this short time, including: PIXAPRO, Olympus, Syco Entertainment, Universal Music, Sony Music, Ben Sherman, The Metro and Panasonic. I’ve also photographed famous bands and artists such as Pixie Lott, The Vamps, UB40, Nerina Pallot, Boyce Avenue (YouTube phenomenon), and Nick Howard (Winner of ‘The Voice of Germany’), to name but a few.
Over the last couple of years, I’ve worked with a range of different brands, road-testing and reviewing all kinds of gear that they provide; including camera bodies, camera lenses, backdrops, lighting setups and lighting modifiers to help make their products even better.
These projects have taken me all over the world. To further engage with my audience, on my travels I vlog and release cinematic behind-the-scenes videos for my rapidly growing YouTube channel, which reaches over 32,000 views a month - these videos are then shares these across all my social media channels to an audience of over 33,000 followers.
Travelling is where I get to combine all my loves into one; creating memorable images & videos, meeting new & truly inspiring people along the way, and finding new recipes for avocados (no joke). I travel as often as I can because I relish experiencing different cultures and ways of life. My most recent personal trip to India was picked up by an Indian excursion company called ‘Indian Odyssey’ and I was offered to lead a photographic tour around the cities of Agra, Lucknow and Varanasi, which was a fantastic testimony to the power of photography.
I am also available for public demonstrations and for speaking at events. This for me is just an extension to what I produce for my YouTube channel - I love to educate and share my passion for this amazing craft.
The key to success is progression, so whenever possible I plan my next personal project. My personal projects allow me to test and try out new techniques that I can fine tune before using them in commercial assignments. Doing this as often as I have has definitely made me a much better photographer; why retread what other photographers have done before, when you can deliver your client something unique?
That’s what I aim to do - let’s grab a coffee and chat about your project/enquiry and get the ball rolling.
